I’m Margaret Spear, and I’m running for State Representative because I believe our community deserves practical leadership that listens first and solves problems second. I’m interested in making sure District 3 is represented by someone who is looking out for the everyday realities of the families who live here.

I’m a neighbor, a problem-solver, and someone who believes good policy starts with common sense and respect for the people it impacts. I’m running to bring thoughtful, steady leadership to Atlanta, focused on what works for us here at home.

I currently work as Chief of Staff for a local civil engineering firm, where I work every day to keep projects moving, budgets balanced, and teams aligned.

I live in Ringgold with my partner and our five animals, and I care deeply about the future of our community. I am running for Georgia House District 3 to protect and invest in Georgia’s public schools, preserve local decision-making and responsible state governance, and improve healthcare access for families across our state. I believe the government should be accountable, fiscally responsible, and focused on solving real problems for the people it serves.

I enjoy baking, hiking, pinball, baby goats, gardening, euchre, and glitter.
